called "all"

i didn't know where to post this, whether to post it in the found or confessional blog.. i think i will just post it in both. this is another first attempt at combining the two genres - so this is my first real shot at a found/confessional poem [found = snippets from anne sextons works]

darkness
as black as your eyelid
stabbed with white flickering holes
waning with the milky moon
into the back drop of the dark
the dawn coming up
the tar road
damp and warm
the smell of stranger
dawn coming up
dark blue
no stars
pink and orange and yellow hues
the smell of a lover
on my shoulders
on my hands
on my mouth
the sky grows warmer now
wave after wave of lightness
and the birds in their chains
going mad with throat noises
the birds in their nests
yelling into their cheeks like clowns
shrill
shriek
light
lighter now
the stars gone
the trees appearing in their green hoods
the house appearing across the way
the tar street appearing in front of me
below my aching feet
the road with its dirty gutters

light
lighter
fog lift by her legs
a gauze dance
light lighter
more god, more god everywhere
more world everywhere
sheets bent back for people
the strange heads

eyes passing from eve to dawn
the endless colours
the same old trees stepping toward me
the rock unpacking its crevices
breakfast like a dream
and the day to live through
steadfast deep interior
